서재은 (Jae-Eun, Suh)

미국에서 활동하는 다학제적 뉴미디어 아티스트 서재은입니다. 저는 아날로그 방식, 디지털 이미지, 프로젝션을 혼합하여 몰입형 공간과 설치물을 제작함으로써 그리움과 구체화된 경험이라는 주제를 탐구합니다. 한국, 프랑스, 미국에서 경험한 제 3문화 아이들(Third Culture Kid)로서의 배경은 제 창작 활동에 깊은 영감을 줍니다. 저의 작업 과정에는 3D 스캐닝, 사진, 비디오, 사운드, 프로젝션, 디지털 프로그램 등 다양한 기법과 매체를 사용한 반복, 즉흥, 실험이 포함됩니다. 또한 작곡가 및 다양한 분야의 사람들과 협업할 수 있는 기회를 가졌고, 공동 작업물은 국제적으로 전시 및 상영되었습니다.

• 저는 학제 간 프로젝트, 특히 몰입형 경험을 포함하는 프로젝트를 탐구하는 데 관심이 있는 공동 작업자를 찾고 있습니다. 저는 이전에 국제적으로 선보인 작곡가들과의 협업을 바탕으로 시청각 작품을 계속 작업하는 데 큰 관심이 있습니다. 또한 몰입형 사운드, 키네틱 아트, VR/AR/XR, 모션 캡처를 전문으로 하는 크리에이터들과도 교류하고 싶지만, 이러한 분야에 국한되지는 않습니다. 저는 뉴미디어 아트의 경계를 넓히는 데 관심이 있는 모든 유형의 크리에이터와 잠재적인 협업에 대해 논의할 수 있습니다.
